Founded in 1999, AskaSites LLC has set out on the quest to make the internet a better and more useful place.
While there are many "expert" sites on the Web, AskaSites LLC is not about "experts". We are about bringing together people with common interests and letting the share their ideas and knowledge.

It became apparent very quickly that this idea was bigger than any of us first thought. Not surprising, but people like our Flagship sites; AskaRabbi.com and AskaChef.com. I mean they REALLY like them. Initially hosted out of a spare bedroom in our founders apartment, The two sites grew quickly to accommodate audiences of 10,000 people + a month. (Small numbers if your a well funded "dot" com, but hey, we were in someone's bedroom!?!)

With our audience growing rapidly, we've moved over to a better server with much more bandwidth to accommodate all the visitors.

The next goal of the company was to find more outlets to spread the information we were gathering. Based on this concept we've developed many different outlets for getting our information in the hands of the people who want it.
Our content new syndication started in the Fall of 2000 and thus far has proven to be a success. Anyone with a web site can provide their sites visitors with any our "Aska" sites questions.

To expand on that concept, we have developed co-branded "Aska" sites. Now, any site on the web can provide their own visitors with their own "Aska" forum utilizing our technology and best of all; our volunteers. Sites wishing to provide an "Ask a" forum in an arena that we are not currently in, can also license our technology to do so.
